Sliding Gate ticks the box for safeguarding at Woodbrook Vale School -

One of our latest projects in the educational sector involved some security upgrades at Woodbrook Vale School in Loughborough.

As is the case with most secondary schools, the school entrance already had a pair of manual security gates which was locked between certain times. The school already had in place a great CCTV system and also a Paxton Net2 door entry system which secures the doors throughout the building. One of the issues with manual gates is that they can be left open by mistake and also do not restrict vehicle’s entering the school grounds during busy times. Again common at most schools situations can arise where vehicles are coming and going during busy times when the students are arriving or finishing their day.

Expert Security UK designed and installed a sliding security gate that linked into the schools existing Paxton Net2 System. This allowed the school to keep the gates locked at all times ensuring the students are kept safe. Authorised staff simply use their existing proximity cards to gain entry through the gate with authorised visitors and deliveries using a GSM intercom.
