New Security Barrier for Parker Knoll HQ -

Founded over 150 years ago in 1869 by a Shoreditch born cabinet maker Frederick Parker, Parker Knoll, have, ever since this time been well renowned for designing and developing the best of British sofas and chairs of the highest possible quality. In 2016 they moved to our new purpose-built, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Nottinghamshire. Their new home continues to facilitate Parker Knoll’s evolution in line with continuing to design and develop the best of British sofas and chairs.

 

Expert Security UK were given the task to help secure the HGV Entrance with a high performance security barrier and manual sewing gate for extra protection. The system was integrated with stand-alone Videx proximity readers and GSM Intercoms restricting unauthorised entry to the loading bay areas

      

Our Sales Director Danny Scholfield had this to say about the project ‘A Simple barrier system like this is great for not only keeping the site secure but also ensures the controlled loading bay area is safe. A lot of the time unauthorised users enter loading bay areas by mistake or by taking a wrong turn. This puts them at risk from forklifts and HGVs who may not know they have entered’
