To maximise the safety and efficiency of employees and personnel at ETS Distribution, we installed security upgrades to their site, optimising staff access as well as overall privacy with an electronic swing gate.

The Loughborough distribution company, who specialize in the handling, storing and transporting of products in the b2b sector, had concerns that the existing manual gate did not provide adequate security. When unlocked during the working day, unauthorised pedestrians and vehicles were free to enter the site.

Our team took close note of the client’s concerns, and addressed their specific needs, including the volume of access required, and the available space on site. The solution to the needs of the project was found with the bi fold gate.

Gates such as these and our electric sliding gates are used most effectively on sites where security and speed of access is paramount. The bi fold gate is equipped with a hinge between the leafs which results in very fast operational speeds.

Resplendent in yellow & blue to match the ETS corporate image, the bi fold gate is a self-operating automatic gate, and provides maximum security through all hours to authorised personnel only. ETS have kitted out all their vehicles with UPASS Vehicle Windscreen Tags, speeding up entry to site, and preventing queuing, which has optimized the efficiency with which the company is able to operate. This prevents the additional problem of tailgaiting, an issue some sites report dealing with.
