New Security System for Calderdale Council

Expert Security UK was given the task of designing and installing a security system that would secure a council depot and recycling centre. We designed a system that included a heavy-duty automatic sliding gate with perimeter fencing. The project also included pedestrian access gates with gas strut closers with magnetic locks and a pair of manual vehicle access swing gates. The access control on the cantilever sliding gate allows authorised staff to safely open the gate with a key switch keeping the site open to the public during the day. After hours, the gate remains locked, with entry being granted by a 4-digit code.

Our sliding gate systems are manufactured to the highest standard and comply with BS/EN 12453. The gate portals are fitted with dual height photocells and 6 category 2/3 monitored live safety edges. All our cantilever sliding gates are fully assembled, ready to bolt down which speeds up installation. As soon as they are commissioned and tested, they are compliant to all standards. This minimises disruption on site and leaves a beautifully finished product which will serve for many years to come.
