Hünnebeck go for high security barriers & ANPR

Hünnebeck is an internationally renown formwork supplier specialising in wall and slab formwork, shoring systems and safety equipment for a wide range of infrastructure, residential, commercial and industrial construction projects.

Expert Security UK was awarded a contract with Hünnebeck to install 3 security barriers at one of their busiest depots in Telford. The scope of works included the installation of a concrete island housing two 100% duty cycle barriers to control staff and visitors. The barriers were integrated with an ANPR system that automatically reads the registration of entering vehicles providing they have authorisation. A heavy Duty Barrier was fitted to the HGV entrance spanning 8m controlled by a push button unit situated in the security lodge.

Whilst the site had an initial concern over security and unauthorised vehicles entering the site,  the new barrier system not only prevents this but also makes the site safer as the vehicles are now controlled.
